This is definitly a Mab inspired Halloween dress, which I did to wear at their Apollo gig.
And for other purposes.
The top is red and black velvet, as well as most of the skirt except of course the lace bits. The collar took a bit of work, trying to think how can the Wicked Queen can wear such a wide tall collar which doesn't collapse? Or course it does help if she is drawn. Another solution is to have something stiff inside. 4 layers of stuff! My faithful sewing machine nearly gave up.
The dress is not straight, and bits are hanging from the legs like if it had been under a combine-harverster.
Perfect for halloween and Mab gigs.
