This is Marina's first dress. The idea of her design was she wanted a dress, with small funny sleeves coming out , a skirt which would be longer at the back and shorter at the front, which would be lined with lots of layers of soft soft chiffon. And she wanted a zip at the front to open.

She chose an embroidered cream cotton for the main dress, and brought herself the white chiffon she fell in love with in the shop.
The dress wasn't too difficult to make, but was tricky to get the right size. I did this dress last, in half a day, and Marina liked it very much !
The belt is a ribbon with some lace sewn to it. Ties at the back...
It looked superb on the stage of the Apollo venue.
