This is my god-daughter Tessa, who begged me to make a similar dress for her christmas present
as the one I wore when I saw her that summer.
She did like it, but seemed to prefer the period dress I made for her the year before.(see in period dresses for photos) More to come..

This is the lovely Brenda, with her Fairy costume and me and Tessa's so wanted dress. The red shoes are customised shoes to look like the ones from the 50's film Wizard of Oz.

The Creel Commission...This devillish band is a source of inspirations! Songs, clothes, customised tshirts...Yes, customised tshirts. Here they are. The one with the white skirt is for Brenda, but she has not had the opportunity to wear it yeet, due to the lack of creel commission gigs.

This is the rest of the costumes done for that same Creel Commission gig on my birthday, for the other Creelies. Visit their website on http://www.thecreelies.co.uk
Wizard outfit made from scratch, as well as scary hat.

A first for Bumblebee, who asked me for a school girl type skirt trashed. She got one, and wore it! It did look great, she should show her legs more often. Very nice.

A few items I did put on Ebay, the check dress sold and the lady was shuffed by it, it fitted perfectly and she did ask me if I was selling more, and I said "No" . At £1.99 a piece, you may understand why I may NOT make anymore. It never went in the collection as it came from a pattern. Quite boring really. The other skirts didn't sell, even though they were also at £1.99 . Ebay? No thanks. NO MORE!!!! Brenda did me a favour and got rid of one of the skirts for me.

A quick raincoat made out of Ikea's shower curtains, going back to its roots.

An amazing corset that I should really have on a separate page. I took a 18th century corset course in 2005, and we made laboriously one corset each from it. It takes the waist in of about 5 inches. Not that comfortable, but absolutely amazing to possess such a piece. Don't ask me for any, I dont remember at all how to make one for someone of a different body size to me! You need blocks, and patterns, it s all a bit tidious, it took about a week to make.

This table is a load of really old stuff, some of my first attempts to sewing. Some of it does not exist anymore.

careful these ones take a long time to download AS THERE ARE 4 OF THEM IN A BAG

Oooohhhh
My first personnalisation of trousers.
The first ever dress I ever ever made, even before the gold nightmare one! I wont tell you WHY I made it but I made it entirely by hand, it took a lot of work to think it through and I ended up not keeping it because the turqoise colour, even though beautiful, clashed with my skin and made me look ill.

Same dress, taken by a photographer in Brighton whose name I have forgotten.
