Period dresses
My first
ever period dress, i had that grand idea to make a corset,
it took me so many nights, but I made it without patterns, just starting
from a piece of fabric and sewn into it to make darts. Taken at Hampton Court

THis is my third perdio dress ever made, again from scratch,
no pattern, made especially
for a French Holiday where we were staying in an amazing
13th century bed and breakfast castle, see

I made it helped by a very good teacher,
but had to finish it on my own and that was a bit of a challenge... Pure silk.

I was lying earlier, this
is in fact my third ever period dress,
but it doesnt count because it was mocked up in about an hour,
falled to pieces, and was not that pretty really. hehehee.
It was made on purpose for a picture of the month involving a pantomime.

This is the first period dress made out of a pattern, and my god daughter
also needed one
so I made her a smaller replica, for Christmas, which is very pretty as it
s got black velvet on the bottom and mine hasn't :-(
I am going to sulk! The colour is not as vile as it looks on here.It s a very
pretty red velvet. My god child loved this dress.
All her friends were jealous,aparently!

The colour of this last period dress is sooooooo vile and looks so awful
on this webpage I just want to hide it away, down, very far, so it's on its
own. My second ever period dress. Made for the Erotica show. Just because
at Erotica what is the point in showing thigh, everybody is, so we might as
well cover up and be different. Just to catch the attention :-) Well it worked!
This dress is a cheat, the corset is in fact a real bought bra bustier that
I covered with bits of white satin. Still nice.
